During Phase 1 (TDR), you’ll be consuming significantly fewer calories than usual, so feeling tired is normal. You can continue with any light to moderate exercise you were doing before the programme, but it’s best not to increase activity levels or do vigorous or lengthy exercise at this stage.
In Phase 2, as you start reintroducing food, you’ll be encouraged to focus on making your day-to-day life more active. Increasing physical activity and exercise will support your weight maintenance and help prevent regaining weight.
